Who are the Red River Valley Beekeepers?

The Red River Valley Beekeepers are a group of hobby and commercial beekeepers who educate and mentor new beekeepers, demonstrate sound beekeeping practices and support beekeepers of all skill levels.  Our goal is to educate the community about issues facing pollinators.

Location
Our membership spans a 100 mile radius of the Fargo, ND and Moorhead, MN area.
Mission Statement
Red River Valley Beekeepers are passionate about bees. Our mission:
  • Encourage and support new beekeepers in their efforts to establish an apiary
  • Promote better beekeeping methods among experienced beekeepers
  • Engage in activities that will improve beekeeping conditions
  • Foster an interest in beekeeping among youth
  • Educate the public about these fantastic creatures
  • Maintain friendly and helpful relations with those forces which are working to better beekeeping interests
  • Develop markets for apiary products
  • Support policies that advance a sustainable environment

Red River Valley Beekeepers
  • Meetings are held every 3rd Tuesday from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, Moorhead, MN from March to September
